Athena is approx. 2 1/2 months old, and was rescued with her two siblings when she was near two months old. Yesterday, after multiple frantic grabs at her so I could put her into a carrier while I cleaned their space, she flung herself sideways out of my arms, hit her head and side on the counter and fell to the ground. She's acting even more withdrawn and off than usual...what are danger/risk signs that she did more serious damage? Her vet is getting her in tomorrow.

Here is a helpful article about pet concussions: https://www.petcoach.co/article/concussions-in-dogs-what-you-should-know/ If Athena is exhibiting any of the symptoms of a concussion or you are very worried, have her seen at an emergency clinic. You may also try working on accepting the crate at a later date once things have calmed down: https://www.petcoach.co/article/how-to-crate-train-your-puppy-or-older-dog/ Best of luck with little Athena.
