My 7-month puppy is sleepy, won't eat, drink, or throws up yellow.

Question

Hi, I have a seven months old puppy. He was fine yesterday. Today he won't eat or drink. He seems like he wants to throw up. A little yellowish liquid came out, but nothing else. He is very sleepy and looks tire. What should I do? Pet's info: Dog | Goldendoodle | Male | neutered | 7 months and 29 days old | 53 lbs

Hello. Unfortunately, there is no way to diagnose Hunter's problem without a hands on exam & the ability to obtain a comprehensive history. Are all his vaccinations current ( vaccinated at 8, 12 & 16 weeks of age? ), is he wormed & on heartworm preventative, did he get into any garbage or toxins are all questions that need to be asked. It would be much more advantageous & certainly quicker to have Hunter examined to see if he has a fever or other problem causing his malaise. Then any treatment(s) can be initiated getting him back to his happy puppy self. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
