What's causing my Russian tortoise's watery, puffy, blinking eyes?

Pet's info: Reptile | Tortoise | Female | 2 years and 1 month old | 1lb

My Russian Tortoise keep blinking her eye a lot! It has been here for a while. She has watery eyes and it looks kinda puffy to me... Just please can you do something because I'm leaving for the beach tomorrow and I'm staying there for two weeks..

Hi, and thanks for your question. That is likely to be due to a mild to moderate conjunctivitis, probably secondary to a trauma or an infection. A check up would be needed as appropriate treatment would include antibiotics and anti-inflammatory eye drops. Corneal injuries must be ruled out as well.
