My kitten keeps me awake at night. How can I get her to sleep?

my kitten is keeping me up every night by running like wild and knocking stuff off the walls. I play with her 3x a day (last one before bedtime) until she literally can't chase the toy any longer. what else can i do to have a proper sleep at night? she does this until i get out of bed then she comes and sleeps next to me in the office.. i'm desperate. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 20 days old | 2.6 lbs

She will eventually outgrow it but I can sympathize. You're doing the right thing by playing with her a lot, but you should also provide plenty of ways for her to amuse herself. Make sure she has plenty of hiding places, things to scratch on, perches where she can see outside, and toys. Get her a stuffed toy that is roughly her size so she has something she can wrestle with like another kitten. You may even consider getting another kitten to keep her company and busy so you can get some sleep. You may have to resort to confining her when you sleep or shutting your door to keep her out.
