My male dog is trying to mate with my new puppy. How to stop it?

I got a new female puppy. My 5 year old male dog is acting crazy and wants to mate with her. I can’t control him

if Prince is not neutered, this may be the reason behind the behavior. Neutering Prince will help but the behavior will not change over night. Keeping Prince on a leash will help you to provide better control. Making sure both pets are well exercised prior to the meeting can help as well. Do not leave the pets together unsupervised.
