Dogs fought, bite wounds. Can't afford vet, what home care can I give?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 26 days old

My two pups were fighting while I was away and when I came home, they both have bite wounds and dried along with fresh blood... they are both walking but not as normally of course. I do not have money nor insurance to see a vet, what can I do? I have cleaned them up very well and now they are separated and wrapped in blankets.

I would watch them closely for any signs of infection, creamy discharge, redness, swelling, poor appetite, lethargy etc. If they show signs of infection they will need to see the vet for oral prescription antibiotics.
