My dog Ate steak with pepper he is not feeling well very quite and not himself what should I do ? Pet's info: Dog | Wheaten Terrier | Male | 2 years and 9 months old | 19 lbs

Poor Bruce! The vomiting could be due to the steak but causes are possible. Many times a bland diet can help and then a slow, gradual introduction to the normal food can be done. A bland diet can consist of 25% boiled white meat chicken and 75% boiled white rice. This should all be plain. You may also with hold food for 6-12 hours and offer small amounts of water frequently. If Bruce remains ill after 24 hours, if he is not drinking or if he is getting worse, he needs to be examined by the veterinarian. I hope he starts feeling better quickly!
