Is feeding my five and six month old corgis once a day enough? I’m trying to cut back their food. When they were just a couple weeks old I of course fed them three times a day, as they became a couple months old I cut it back to twice a day, now I’m thinking about once a day with a pig ear for the day. They eat blue buffalo and do exercise on a daily. I can still see what I call “hour glass figure” so I know they aren’t overweight. I also have two adult huskies but they get fed once a day.

I recommend to feed all dogs twice a day. It helps to keep the metabolism running and can decrease risk for stomach torsion and bloat. Adult dogs can be fed once a day but most prefer two smaller feedings. Puppies should eat twice a day because they are still developing and have faster metabolism than adults.
