Found a tiny bug. Is it why my dog is itching and losing hair?

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Male | unneutered | 5 years and 7 months old | 35 lbs

Hi, was wondering if you could identify the bug I attached. It’s almost like a dot in my palm. Was thinkinb maybe this is the reason why my dog has been itching and having crusty skin/hair loss patches. Not sure if the bug flies or just leaps. He is currently on bravecto though.

I’m so sorry, but the picture is not close-up enough or clear enough. If you only found one I wouldn’t really be that worried about it. If the dog is on Bravecto then he’s pretty well covered. It might be easier for you to keep that in a Ziploc bag and take it to your vets office to see if they can tell what it is. They can even look under the microscope if they need to.
