My dog trembles, loses control of his back legs. Is it a seizure?

Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | 5 years and 5 months old | 18 lbs

Today my dog suddenly started trembling for a few minutes as if he was unable to control his back part of body and legs althoug he was able to walk but not properly , he was frightened and came to us than we diverted his mind and he was fine in another 2- 3 minutes. He experience same thing once in two months or some time even in 6 months .He is eating well and is playing well than whats the problem. Please help me find whats wrong.

Based on what you are describing, I am concerned that this is seizure activity that Romy is experiencing. When this occurs, I typically recommend a thorough physical exam and some lab work to rule out any underlying causes of seizures. During those episodes you can just make sure Romy is safe (from falling off furniture, down the stairs, or into a pool) and comfort him until the episode has passed. It is also a good idea to keep a record, or journal, of these episodes so you know how frequently they are occurring. I hope this helps.
