Why is my budgie sick with green poop, fluffed, and mouth breathing?

Hi i have a budgie,last night i noticed he had green watery pooh,today he hasnt really been himself he seems to fluff up and is acting quite erattic..he has also been breathing with his mouth open...any ideas what this could be?am i going to loose him?

This does sound very serious, a gaping beak is never a good sign in a bird. Unfortunately they are very susceptible to gut and respiratory disease. I would get him to an avian vet asap and try and keep him as calm and settled as possible on the journey.
