All of the sudden Zoey's skin seems to be itchy. I've checked her for fleas, bathed her with soothing shampoo, and used an anti itch spray on her. Nothing seems to work. So you have recommendations?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Zoey. If your at home treatments have not helped, then it is time for her to see her veterinarian. Her skin will be assessed and tests may be performed to ensure that she does not have mites or ringworm. If not, then allergies are common this time of year. Based on her skin, she may need antibiotics if there is a secondary infection. There are potent anti-itch medications that will improve her comfort dramatically as well. I hope this information helps!

Poor Zoey. It may be that she has some allergies causing her scratching. Wiping down her belly and legs after she goes outside may help by removing any dust of pollen. Using a medication shampoo such as Duoxo Calm can help decrease the itching. If she continues to scratch or causes any open sores then I recommend a visit to the vet to treat the cause of her itching and prevent Zoey from causing infection or wounds to herself. https://www.amazon.com/Douxo-Calm-Shampoo-Dogs-Cats/dp/B0010V5LNE https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4952662 https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951477
