My dog is breathing very hard and rapidly like she might be struggling to breathe. I checked her breaths per minute and it is at 65. What do I do?

Your pet needs to be seen by your vet right away. Any difficulty breathing should be treated as an emergency. Your pet could be having an allergic reaction, is in pain for some reason, anxious, could have fluid in or around the lungs due to a heart condition, there are a number of possibilities. Your vet will do an exam, bloodwork and x-rays to determine the cause for the symptoms and get your pet started on treatment.
