Hi.. Mini had food poisoning, diarehea n vomitting a couple of days ago, vet prescribed her Ondansetron oral solution IP & metronidazole benzoate oral suspension IP, also gave some injections.. She is fine now, however she hasnt pooped from 2 days. Peeing is normal, she is eating well n active.. I have stopped those medicines as she was fine, now my vet advised to give her Zymopet for not pooping, he told nothing to worry, im giving it from yesterday but she hasnt pooped yet, im really worried

I agree with your vet and would not be overly worried. They can easily go days to a week without pooping and it is not a problem. I guess while she was sick she didn't eat much so she may not have much to poop out. You can give the Zymopet but it is more for gas and not constipation. My recommendation is that you feed here some high fiber foods for the next few days to help get her intestinal tract moving and to bulk up the stools - whole wheat bread, chickpeas, rice, sweet potatoes, etc. Hope this helps. If you have more questions you can always opt for a private consultation where we can chat back and forth. That way you can ask as many questions as you'd like. Best wishes.
