My Shih Tzu has runny poop, is shaky, and tired after new food?

Our 1 yr old shih tzu utd on shots has had runny poop since last night. Today he seems shaky and really tired. Outside temp is 82 and hes been in and out all day. He has access to fresh water both in n outside. The only new thing is I got different dog food. I went from blue buffalo puppy to Bella small dog food. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 1 year old | 4 lbs

An abrupt change in diet could cause diarrhea, but there are many other potential causes as well ranging from intestinal parasites to infections. If the diarrhea is not resolving in the next few days or if Appa continues to act lethargic you should have him examined by your vet.
