Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Male | neutered | 9 months and 21 days old | 15 lbs
Our 8 month old Boston Terrier likes to eat everything he comes across of in the yard. He has had diarrhea for two days called the vet they suggested putting him on a bland diet thinking he has an upset stomach. This is the 5th day he has passed some pieces of chewed up wood. Still very soft poop, but not diarrhea, my concern is when he does poop he has a little teeny bit of blood that comes out should I be concerned he has more wood in his intestines or is it his stomach still recovering

Hello. The colon is irritated, either from the foreign material, or from the diarrhea itself, & that is where the blood is coming from. If Leo if feeling & eating well, & the stool is beginning to firm up, then I would not be too concerned. Give things a few more days to see if his stool returns to normal. He should be fine & thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
