Are reptile heat lamps safe for keeping newborn puppies warm?

Just wanting to know am I able to use a reptile heat lamp for newborn puppies?? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 2 months old

As long as its placed at a distance that prevents them from potentially bumping into it and burning themselves, then yes, you can. However, its often not needed, especially in the summer.,as long as momma dog is right there are they are in a protected area with bedding/blankets/and snuggling together.
