Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 20 lbs
Ive read a lot of sad stories of people whose dog died because they ate something laced with toxic stutf (mostly antifreeze and from what ive read it was sausages). Sometimes i find bones next to the trash can outside, i never let my dog go near it but one time he got one in his mouth. Could a bone also be laced with something? He was fine after, he didnt eat it because i took it out. Just wondering about this.

I suppose it is possibe to use anything edible as a delivery device for a toxin, depending upon what that toxin happens to be. As long as it is small and can adhere to a bone, a potential toxicity could occur theoretically.
