My dog has a raw, hairless spot. Is it ringworm or something else?

Hi! I noticed a raw hairless spot on my dog a few days ago and I can’t seem to figure out what it is. I’m thinking is ringworm but I don’t know for sure

Hello. This does not look like a typical lesion associated with ringworm. It looks more like a focal area of irritation/inflammation from an insect bite/sting, allergies or just some other cause. Please see your vet as the appropriate medication will probably clear this up quickly. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
