Pet's info: Dog | Blue Heeler | Male | 7 months and 3 days old | 30 lbs
About a week ago my 7mo old heeler seemed sensitive around his face and neck. It went away for two day and he was back to being very hyper, a day later the strange sensitive and timid behavior came back, disappear, and came back again today. There are no signs of swelling or cuts. He regularly plays rough wouth my 2 year old heeler fighting over sticks in our large rural back yard, we feared lime but have seen no ticks all year. Only consistent pain is when u press his nose to is chest.

I recommend to have Loki examined. The signs you are seeing are not normal and Loki is unable to speak and tell you what is hurting him. A physical exam is the only way to know what is causing him the discomfort and the sensitivity. There are many potential causes including an injury in the mouth, an infected tooth or something involving the jaw or muscles of the skull. Have him examined today since it's been going on a few days. Best of luck.
