Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered

there’s a construction going on in my building and my dad accidentally dropped something out of the window, so i went to get it outside. i had to put my legs on the floor where it had a bit of dust from the work and when i got home again my dog started sniffing me. i don’t think he licked it but could it be harmful? it was just dust on my jeans by the way and he’s acting completely normal

That shouldn't be a problem. Construction dust is usually just that, dust. Any toxic materials used in construction and renovation are usually regulated very closely when there is the potential for people or animals to come into contact with it. Keep an eye on him to be safe, but he seems fine, he probably is.
