Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 60 lbs
My husband is deployed and left over a month ago, and I moved in with my parents 4 weeks ago. My pitbul lab mix was doing great until 4 days ago. He tore a base board off and gnawed on the dry wall. When I come home he is very worked up(breathing quickly and heavily). He clings to me more than my husband. I am not sure as to what is going on and I need some advise/help.

I am so sorry to hear about Trevor! It sounds like he is suffering from separation anxiety. Some over the counter products that may help include an Adaptil collar or diffuser https://www.adaptil.com/us/Products/ADAPTIL-Calm-On-the-go-Collar and a calming supplement such as Zylkene or Composure (available online, at some pet stores and vet clinics). Behavioral modification can also help and in severe cases prescription medication may be required especially if he is being destructive or hurting himself so if that is the case I would recommend a trip to your vet to discuss this new behavior.
