Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 11 years and 2 months old

Hello! My cat is 11 years old and she has this brown spot at her belly and at back foot. She also has little red dots that look like a rash. She was recently diagnosed with liver failure, so she had to took an x-ray which causes her to lose hair at her belly. Her treatment was to take IV fluids for a week. After She was back home I started recognizing those brown sports. It’s been a month and they don’t seem to go away. She eats and drinks normally but her pee was a little bit brown.

I recommend to call your veterinarian and let them know what you are seeing at home. The brown urine is very concerning for her liver not working properly. It could also indicate something like a bladder infection or irritation to the lining of the bladder. I recommend to get this examined right away. The brown discoloration on her skin could be related to irritation of the skin or excessive licking of the area. Carefully examine the skin underneath the brown area. It should be pale white. If it is a red or flaky, it could indicate an underlying skin infection. Have the veterinarian examine her skin as well. I hope this helps and best of luck.
