I can’t really tell from the photo but it looks like a possible rectal prolapse. I suggest you deworm this dog and use granulated sugar on the prolapsed tissue. That should shrink it so it goes back in. This happens from straining to defecate so feed soft foods that are easy to digest. You can use amoxicillin if you have it. Be advised sometimes surgery is needed to fix this. Best wishes.

That is really odd! Without significant trauma, it isn't possible to defecate out the intestines. Rectal prolapse is possible, but unless they chew it off, it should stay attached. It is more likely to be something that Rocky ingested that came out undigested. If he starts acting lethargic, painful, has difficulty defecating, etc. then he should definitely get checked out by a vet.

Sounds like Suzain may have had a rectal prolapse. Rectal tissue can protrude when there is excessive straining to defecate and can look like intestine. The bloody stool could be from intestinal parasites, ingestion of a toxin or non-food item or potentially parvovirus. I would recommend seeing a veterinarian to treat the diarrhea and determine if there is a rectal prolapse.

this may be from constipation or straining to go to the bathroom. If it was a single instance, then there is nothing to worry about, if it continues of diarrhea starts, then he needs to be checked by your vet. You can try add fiber such as green beans or canned pumpkin to help with firm stool
