My 8-week-old German Shepherd puppy isn't eating enough. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 1 day old | 90 lbs

my german shepherd puppy is 8 weeks old and he doesn’t like to eat his food. when we bought him they told us to feed him dog kibbles and he never ate them so when we took him to the vet they gave us a different type of food, he still doesn't eat as much as he is supposed to. what should i do?

You could try adding some canned food in with Pluto’s dry kibble to make it more palatable but I would also be worried that there could be something medical going on. You may want to recheck Pluto’s weight with your vet a week or so after his last visit to make sure he is gaining appropriately. If he is not growing your vet might want to run some tests like blood work.
