Hello. No, it is not. Omeprazole is commonly known as Prilosec, & it is used to decrease stomach acid production, & is useful for GI ulceration & bleeding. This would certainly make someone feel better, but it is not actual pain medication. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
