My new kitten's eye looks infected. What is it and is it serious?

Good evening, I recently adopted a male kitten and everything has been smooth but he has devolved some kind of eye infection/ inflammation and I’m not sure what it is or if is severe.

It’s probably not severe, but I would recommend that you have Leo examined by a vet. It could be a bacterial or viral eye infection or upper respiratory infection, or a scratch on the cornea. The vet will do an examination and then can recommend appropriate diagnostics or treatment.
