My new kitten meows when I leave. How can I make him comfortable?

I need to leave my kitten, that I just got yesterday, alone for a couple of hours but he's not comfortable being alone yet, and meows when he doesn't see me. He’s attached to me. What should I do to make him more comfortable?

He is so cute! You can put him in a crate with food, water, and a litter box. This will give him a safe space while you are gone. You can also get Feliway, which is a plug in diffuser that releases calming pheromones.
