My dog drinks more water after eating wet food. What should I do?

I have noticed Tiny drinking more water than what he normally drinks. It started yesterday, when I started putting water (I drained it out, before giving it to him) in his dog food. Today, I also gave him wet dog food. So this drinking behavior only started yesterday. Should I stop giving him wet food? Do you think he probably think the water is his food? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 10 months old | 13 lbs

It could be Tiny is thirstier than usual and that could be due to heat if it's warm where you are, or a medical illness. I would have him checked out by a vet this week to be safe. You can keep giving him the wet food.
