Why is my unneutered dog bleeding watery blood from his penis?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

My Labrador Retriever is bleeding watery blood from his peanus last month, today and yesterday but is still in good humor. What could it be? He is not neutered and is around 2 and a half years old.

These signs might be compatible with a urinary tract infection/inflammation. Stress related (idiopathic type of inflammation) infection and presence of crystals are the most common causes of it. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed.
