Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | spayed | 7 lbs
My cat went to the groomer about 3 weeks ago. Long story short they got her mixed up with another appointment & shaved her into a lion cut with out my permission. When I got home and she settled down I noticed 2 small cuts on the inside of her elbow area I assume from the buzzer. One healed nicely with no issue but one is dark...Maybe bruised? Her hair near the area is also now gone. Shes acting normal other then occasionally biting and scratching the area. eating drinking using litter as usual

The dark discoloration of Kitty’s skin is just a change in pigmentation, most likely from being irritated and inflamed by the clipping. The skin looks otherwise healthy and normal. The pigmentation will slowly go away over time and should not cause any problems. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.
