My dog ate a bug and is puking. What can I do for his upset stomach?

Hello my dog ate the locust looking bugs. And ever since has been Puking,Licking everything nonstop,crying, and hiccuping. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 62 lbs

It sounds like Buddy is having some gastritis, or an inflammation in the lining of the stomach wall. This is probably because of the bug he ate. If the vomiting continues for more than 24 hours I would recommend taking Buddy in to the vet to make sure nothing else too serious is going on. He may also need some nausea medication and fluids since he has been vomiting so much. I would also try to withhold food for about 12-24 hours to help settle his stomach. I hope this helps.
