Why is my bird lying down and looking dead? What should I do?

My bird is 8 weeks now sometimes I see it sleeping just lying down on the cage I sometimes thinks it dead also What should I do. Pet's info: Bird | African Grey | Male

Thanks for reaching out about Blue. Laying down and being quiet is not normal for baby birds. A veterinary visit should be scheduled. Provide supplemental heat in the 80-85 F range, which might give some assistance as baby birds have difficulty with thermoregulation. Good luck.
