My dog's heartworm medicine is Iverhart Max, not Plus. Is it safe?

Hello I just would like your opinion. Every year the vet gives Benji Iverhart Plus. I took him to the vet today and got his heartworm medication but noticed when I got home that it's Iverhart Max. Is this one the same? Is it safe? Is there a significant difference? Do dogs usually tolerate it well?

The main difference is that the Iverhart Max will control an additional intestinal parasite (tapeworms). Otherwise the medications will both protect against heartworms, roundworms, hookworms and are generally well tolerated. The Max product does contain an additional ingredient (to kill the tapeworms). Again, this ingredient is generally well tolerated but watch Benji after giving him the medication for any signs of GI upset. Thank you for your questions.
