My dog has a new rash under his arm. Could it be Lyme disease?

My dog has a rash underneath his arm which is brand new. Is it Lyme or something else?

Dogs do not get rashes from Lyme disease infection like people do. So, it is highly unlikely to have anything to do with Lyme disease. This looks more like just a mild skin infection/scrape. You can apply a thin layer of Neosporin to it twice a day. If after 7 days or so it does not seem to be healing you should have your vet take a look.
