My rats itch a lot and have redish/orange specks in their fur. What should I do?

Although a picture would help to determine the underlying cause of it more specifically, this presentation could be due to an allergy or possibly a mite infestation. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Anti parasite treatment may be needed.
