Hello I have an 8 month old shih tuz called benji. These past 2 days I have noticed a little pink lump on the bottom of his nose. I cant recall him always having it, I have only just noticed it the other day. Is it anything to worry about and would you advise going to my local vets?

Hello and thank you for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I would not be concerned about this small pink area on Benji's nose at this time. As long as he is acting normally - eating/drinking/urinating/defecating normally - I would not be worried. I recommend monitoring the area over the next week or so, and if it changes in appearance, i.e. becomes larger or irritated, I would have Benji evaluated by a veterinarian. I hope this is helpful!
