Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Female | spayed | 6 years and 4 months old | 10 lbs

My cat had his eye removed at emergency last Wednesday. We brought him home late Thursday evening. He is eating well, pooping, peeing the site doesn't look overly swollen or sore. However last night he started to have a very slight nosebleed on the same side as eye removal. I keep reading it's normal post op but after the fear of that day .... I take the cone off under strict supervision and he is much more content

Dewey is a very cute little cat! It sounds like you are doing everything right, monitoring him carefully for any signs of soreness, discharge that looks like pus, or swelling. As long as he continues to eat, drink, pee and poop normally, and there is no sign of pus or any significant increase in the blood, I would not be too worried. Continue to keep the e-collar on him unless you are directly supervising him, and if you see any of the signs mentioned above, I recommend seeing a vet right away.
