My dog shakes while sleeping. Is she cold or is this normal?

at times while my dog is sleeping she tends to tremble/shake, is she cold or is this normal? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 8 years and 4 months old | 13 lbs

Dogs do you dream and this may be the cause of the shaking and trembling. Next time you notice it, put your hand on her body to see if she feels cool. Also take note of where she is lying, is there a draft? Is it cold in the house? Unfortunately since she cannot talk, we cannot know the exact reason why she trembles and shakes. I hope this helps.
