My duckling was attacked by a cat, sick, crusty eyes, won't eat.

Question

I have a duckling that I got from my grandmas yard the cat had it in its mouth. The duck has crusts around its eyes and it will not eat. What do I need to do?? Pet's info: Bird | Duck | Male

Thanks for reaching out about Quackers and including photos. A veterinary visit is recommended as cat mouths are notoriously dirty and can cause infections. A veterinary visit is recommended. Try offering pellets wetted down with a syringe. Good luck.
