I've got a cat that's a regular visitor to my home (everyday) for the last 2 years, yesterday when he came he had a very sore eye, looks like conjunctivitis. He isn't my cat and I'm unsure who he belongs to but I often give him shelter from the rain in my outhouse which I have made comfortable and put food in. Is there any way I can help him without having to take him to a vet because I'm not sure if I could get him into a cat box to transport him. I've tried to get a few photos of his eye

He is very handsome! Do you think he will let you put something in the eye? If so, I would try using this eye ointment for a week or so. Twice a day if you can. If he won't let you medicate it there is nothing you can do but hope it heals on it's own. Luckily it doesn't look too bad from the photos. ( https://www.allivet.com/p-1292-terramycin-ophthalmic-ointment.aspx ) This is the only eye antibiotic you can buy over the counter and it works well in cats. If you need instruction on how to medicate the eye there are plenty of YouTube videos on the subject that you can look up. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
