Why are my dog's lower lips swollen and red, but he's acting normal?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | neutered | 2 years and 3 months old | 60 lbs

Hi I just noticed my dogs lower lips are a bit swollen and red u can see them hang a bit from the sowlleness when his mouth is closed. He still eating and drinking water and normal behavior

Swollen lips can be a sign of many things including a bug or spider bite, an allergic reaction, an injury or an infection. It's best to play it safe and have Timmy examined by the veterinarian. Do not let Timmy further traumatize the area by chewing on toys. You may also try applying a cool (not cold) compress. I hope this helps.
