My 14-week-old puppy has recurring smelly liquid diarrhea. Why?

Hi my 14 week old labrador puppy keeps having loose stools, had a episode of colitis at 8 weeks with dehydration, he is in good form he has loose stools last weekend and they were then semi ok during the week and now again very loose stools this weekend, they smell bad and are totally liquid he does it about 3/4 times a day and he passes smelly wind before hand.

Diarrhea in puppies is almost always due to intestinal parasites - either worms or protozoan parasites. I suggest you have a fecal test done at your vet's office to rule those in/out. In the meantime you can start him on a probiotic (one made for dogs, not humans) and keep him on a consistent diet. No treats or human foods until the diarrhea has resolved.
