My dog is acting weird after wearing a tick collar. What's wrong?

My 6 month chorkie was given the tick collar the whole day and night he sat in a corner on slept on sofa and winched he did not want to play as he usually does with my 4year old collie nor eat so I took it off him the following day back to normal. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 6 months and 13 days old | 6.7 lbs

I am not sure exactly what your question is. If the symptoms resolved with you removing the collar then I suggest you not use it anymore and use a different type of tick control like a topical or oral product. I suggest you consult with your vet as to what would be the best product to use for him in your area.
