Why is my older dog crying for no reason after getting a puppy?

We have had our frenchton for about i 8 years and a few weeks ago we got another frenchton who is only 11 weeks old. Our 8 year old frenchton will jus start moaning and crying for no reason and we aren't sure why. Any thoughts? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | 7 years and 11 months old | 23 lbs

It is probably attention seeking behavior. I suggest you ignore it when he does that as to not reinforce the behavior. If no change after you have done that for a week or so then I suggest you get him to the vet for a check up to rule out any underlying medical problem.
