My horse has a hard lump on her stomach. Is it a cyst or cancer?

My 4 year old quarter horse mare has developed a hard lump on her under her stomach/ flank. It is not mobile and is pretty firm. It is under the skins & hair. It doesn’t bother her when I touch or squeeze it. It is about the size of a pea, marble slightly larger. os this something I should just keep an eye on or should I be concerned and have a vet come check it? Since she’s so young should I be concerned about a cancer or would it be possible this is a cyst or something from a bug bite?

It is most likely a cyst but of course I cannot be 100% sure just by looking at a photo. I suggest you just monitor it for now. If it becomes larger or starts to bother her you should have your vet out to check her. Cancer is unlikely.
