Why is my outdoor cat grumpy and won't go outside after being out?

Hello, my cat named Zach is an outdoor and indoor cat. He normally comes in and out though the day and we try to keep him inside at night time but sometimes he will spend the night outside. He was outside Wedessday- Thursday night and when he came back he was a bit more grumpy, he didnt like being touched when normally he didnt mind it. He also has refused to go outside ever since. He is still eating normally, Last night he ate all of his food, some of his sisters and some dry food. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 4 lbs

It could be poor Zach was injured when he was outside. It's good that he is eating normally. If he doesn't want to go outside, he does not have to. Monitor him, and he's still acting differently by Tuesday, have him seen by a vet.
