Why does my dog react to petting his back and still have fleas?

about this post i made. charlie has flea treatment but recently i found 2 fleas on him! but this reaction to petting his back has always happened, sometimes it seems more obvious, and sometimes he doesn’t even react. once i found these spots but the vet said it might be just pigmentation.

Once again, it's hard to know and finding two fleas complicates things. Certainly, if you continue to see more fleas, try switching your flea prevention. If you don't think it's related to fleas or pathologic, it's likely nothing to worry about. I hope this helps.
