Puppy: 8 weeks of age: DA2PP 12 weeks of age: DA2PP booster 16 weeks of age: DA2PP booster and rabies Optional vaccinations: bordetella (for kennel cough) and leptosporosis; speak to your vet about if you dog has a lifestyle that will make him need these vaccinations. Kitten: 8 weeks of age: FVRCP 12 weeks of age: FVRCP booster, leukemia 16 weeks of age, FVRCP booster, leukemia booster and rabies

He should receive the Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine if you plan to take him to dog parks, the pet store, boarding facility or around any other dogs. Also you should be sure that your pet doesn't need boosters on the DAPP vaccine, which is likely considering his age. Most puppies get their last set of vaccinations around 14-16 weeks of age. Pet typically only need 1 round of the Bordetella vaccine, which then becomes a yearly vaccination. If your pet is going to be going outside to use the potty, then the Leptospirosis vaccine is recommended, which typically is boostered 1 time.
