I just inherited a wire haired terrier female approx 4-5 yrs old not fixed an in heat which I know nothing about.i can tell not feeling good today an is strecthing out on floor like she has cramps?

Yes, a dog in heat can get cramps and feel unwell. Do not give Lucy any human pain medications, many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given. Watch her closely tonight, and if she is still this way in the morning, have her seen by a vet. Best of luck.
